Hi Neil,

I would love to see support for PushOver.

This is a notification system for Android and iOS which you can set that when something happens in the house, a notification can be sent direct to your smart phone screen.

Here's the link

Hi Andrew!

Your wish is my command Smile

I'll soon be finished on a new notification's system and I've already successfully tested it with pushover.

It'll also be possible to use the pushalot app for windows mobile too

Wahoo!!!! Brilliant!

This completely changes the system for me, very cool indeed.

Thank you very much for putting the work in Skiv, the system is looking good.

Me again Neil....always trying to improve the system Wink

My next step once getting this installed is having control of everything via a remote. As prices of Android tablets are relatively low, I was thinking of having one on each floor or even one per main room.

I would want the remote to control the lights and z-wave stuff and give me access to the information that your BMS gui gives but in a simpler form. Would be great to be able to each configure our own remotes (not sure if this can be done). I would personally just have a choice of each room as an icon on the home page and then you could go in deeper to reveal control of lights, viewing sensor info or controlling other devices like XBMC.

Is this possible? I have seen this;

Works on Android and iOS.

Thanks

Hi Moreno5,

From my limited understanding this feature is already implemented. You can create as many different 'graphical views' as you need, there could be one for each device that you are using as a remote whether it be a PC, tablet etc.
I agree that the existing front end is a bit daunting though for the novice user. It would be very cool if OpenRemote could interface with the BMS, their design package looks great.

Hi Neil,

I keep reading about being able to control the heating in my house by room which I would love and I am in need of this feature as I have some rooms cooler than others.

I currently have a Tado heating system which I love as the app is good and it works on my location, reducing temps the further away from the house I go.

Is their anyway that BMS can use Tado's data? I don't mind buying TRV's but just wondered if anything can be implemented.

Thanks again

Hi Moreno,

Yea I've looked into this and its definitely do-able.

My plans are to allow a new 'tado' field on the 'super' user main page. Once the system see's this data, it'll poll the tado server's and find the current setpoint the tado thermostat is working to.

Once you have this inside BMS Link, you can use its value as a master reference for your virtual thermostat's and hence control all your zone's from it.

It's on my list, keep ya posted Smile

Thanks for the idea.
