Hi from the newbie
Hi all i have been looking for something like this site for a while to control my lightwaverf gear, more so the energy monitor.
When i bought the monitor on the LWRF web site it said " a concierge setting" would become available for the historic energy use
As of yet still not seen it.
So here i am
only thing is i cant get the BMS to load on the virtual machine i get a message
The import failed because C:\Users\Ste and Hevs\Documents\BMS Link Install\Extract\bmslink-v1.0.ovf did not pass OVF specification conformance or virtual hardware compliance checks.
followed by
Failed to open virtual machine: The guest operating system '*other26xLinuxGuest' is not supported.
I have downloaded the software from the linked and this keeps happening
Please help

Re: Hi from the newbie
Hi,
This sounds like the VMWare 7.x issue others have seen.
If you download the 6.0.x version instead, all will be well

I am working on a newer VM which will be v1.100 and should of been released already, but I made the mistake of updating the linux core to debian 8 and it messed lots of things up.
Also, LWRF updated the wifi link and how its API is exposed, so i'll need to release an update to v1.049 (will be v1.050) so you can access it.
You'll certainly be able to log and report on the data.
HTH.
