DDwrt router
Hi Guys
I am trying to add a DDWRT to my setup.
I currently only use the DDWRT (Dlink 615) as an access point (due to the lack of 5Ghz support) with my BT HH5 handling the dhcp.
For BMS Link to recognise and use the DDWRT interface does it need to be handling dhcp and actually being used as the network router rather than just as an AP.

Re: DDwrt router
Hi Wes,
Yes you're correct, the ddwrt interface requires that the dd-wrt router be the 'Authoritative' DHCP server.
Forunately, there's no requirement for it to be the 'internet gateway device'.
Easiest way to achieve this, disable DHCP in the HH5 and the ddwrt router will pick up all DHCP requests.
Then a few easy setup changes in the dd-wrt router and you're all set.
I can post these in a sticky.
